Outside though, you’re in for even more of a treat. This accommodation has a private outdoor retreat with landscaped gardens and a big entertaining deck.

Dig out the bathers and swim some laps in the fully heated pool, or embrace holiday living with a soak in the jacuzzi instead. (It’s worth noting you can pay extra to have the pool gas-heated to ensure a warm swim in cooler months—you just need to make sure you ask a minimum of 48 hours before you arrive). Those who fancy throwing some hoops can take advantage of the basketball court in the backyard. Fancy a trip to the beach instead? The owners of this pad provide beach towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket and snorkelling gear for you to use during your stay.

But you don’t need to be a golf aficionado to appreciate all that this Mornington Peninsula accommodation has to offer. Nup. You’re a stroll away from a secret winery restaurant here—one which offers incredible food and views—and next door to the estate are two hot springs: Peninsula Hot Springs and the Alba Thermal Springs and Spa, in case you fancy a dip.

Your Airbnb house itself has three bedrooms, including a huge king that has sliding doors onto a central outdoor courtyard, plus an ensuite with a big double shower. The massive kitchen and living space also leads out onto this courtyard, where there’s a dining table for eight just waiting for the group to gather. There’s a second outdoor zone too—the back deck—from which you can sit and watch the golfers do their stuff. Another bonus, the owner Jenny used to be a reviewer for The Age Good Food Guide, and all guests receive her list of restaurant recommendations in the area. Sweet!

But we wouldn’t blame you if you just fancied enjoying your luxury accommodation in all its indoor/outdoor-living glory instead.

Take the plunge and enjoy the solar-heated swimming pool, or laze by the side of it in a lounger if you prefer. If a nice steamy outdoor bath is more your thing, you can head for the white tub around the corner and jump right on in. The heated cedar hot tub is an option if there’s a few of you who’d like a dip. Then it might be time to fire up the wood-fired pizza oven for a feed, so you’ve got enough energy to do it all again the next day.

There are beaches, nature trails and wineries on your doorstep here, and barbecue facilities, two outdoor seating spots and a fire pit back at base. There’s even a trampoline in the garden for those who want to have a cheeky bounce (go on, you know you want to).

There’s a large grassed lawn that just calls out for a ball game, plus this pad is pet-friendly so Floof can get those zoomies done too. Want even more?
