Melbourne’s Wildly Popular Gin Market Is Returning This July

By

People sat at a market with stalls selling gin.

Not all markets are created equal, though one we can clink (a highball) glass to is the Craft & Co Gin Market, which is returning to Melbourne this winter.

At this year’s market will be a grip of distilleries showcasing their botanicals in all their glory. Heading up the bill is Archies Rose, Craft & Co, Death Gin and Great Ocean Road Gin alongside some of Australia’s up and comers in the scene.

This year, Craft & Co’s gin market will operate a little differently for reasons we probably don’t need to mention again. For the most part, it’ll be a sit-down event where each distillery will park up at your table and take you through the good stuff—no doubt, they’ll be bringing along their finest so expect to try gins you’ll unlikely find elsewhere.

Following the formalities—gin-heavy formalities, the best kind—you’ll be able to talk shop with the distilleries and other gin-lovers if you please. There’ll also be a specialty booze store where you can pick up exclusives and rarities.

The Craft & Co gin market takes place Thursday 22 July until Sunday 25 July with various sessions running throughout. Tickets are $30 to $40 and include plenty of free tastings and a showbag. Lock in your spot here.

In the meantime, check out Australia’s best gin here.
