Melbourne’s Wildly Popular, Carb-Loaded Gnocchi Festival Is Back For One Weekend In May

By

Gnocchi being made by chefs.

So successful they put on a second festival in the same year, The Ascot Lot’s Gnocchi Festival is returning this May after a 2021 hiatus because of reasons we don’t need to go into again.

The carb-loaded festival has a hefty line-up featuring some of Melbourne’s favourite gnocchi artisans. Expect those delicious lumps of boiled potato from the likes of Pasta Face, Pearl of the Quarter, Italian Chef, and the unforgettable-named Eat My Balls.

To complement your gnocchi, The Ascot Lot’s indoor booze hall and garden bar will be serving up Ital-inspired cocktails including Spritzes, Peach Bellinis and Negronis.

And, in a true commitment to the ‘something for everyone’ commitment, they’re even enlisting Ardor Food Co. who serve up nothing but gluten-free goods, and in this case gluten-free gnocchi.

For more information and the full entertainment schedule (TBC) for the Gnocchi Festival, head on over to the The Ascot Lot.
