Dine Underneath The Stars In Private Winter Igloos Along The Yarra River

By

An igloo with chairs and fur rugs.

Thaw out those winter blues with the return of Melbourne’s Winter Igloo Garden. Kicking off on Saturday the 21st of May, you’ll find igloos popping up along the Wharf Hotel’s riverside. Rug up in your best winter woollies and spend a night relaxing and dining beneath the stars.

Have a romantic date for two or cosy up with eight of your closest friends. Open seven days, you’ll have 2 hours to enjoy a lunch or dinner affair. The private igloos are built for comfort, with lush blanketing, cushioned seating and strings of twinkling fairy lights.

Starting at $59 per person, graze on a sharing platter, stacked with baked brie, ceviche and feta Pastizzi or if your veggie inclined, feast on their plant-based banquet. The warm beverages will take the chill off, with mulled wine and cider or splash out with a classic hot toddy or boozy hot chocolate. For an extra $20, indulge your inner sweet tooth by dipping marshmallows and strawberries in flowing chocolate fondue, money well spent.  Secure your spot under the stars over here.

Prefer dining indoors, step right this way to Melbourne's best restaurants.
