Melbourne’s Night Noodle Market Is Returning To Birrarung Marr Tomorrow

Night Noodle Markets Melbourne

After a two-year hiatus, Melbourne’s Night Noodle Market is returning for 18 days of Hawker-style eats at its usual home, Birrarung Marr.

Headlining the bill is a grip of familiar names such as Hoy Pinoy, Flying Noodle, May’s Malaysian Hawker, Wonderbao, along with Gelato Messina on dessert duties as per. The Melbourne iteration of the street food fest will also see West Australian celeb chef Brendan Pang and his institute-status Bumplings set up shop for the two and a half weeks.

Kicking off with the dessert, get your hands on Messina's life-changing Milo Fry Club, a deep-fried scoop of milo gelato with Messinatella pudding and oreo crumble, or a stack of Sydney's famed Demochi Donut, a hybrid mix of honey glazed doughnut mochi balls.

Savoury wise your hit list needs to include Mr Miyagi's revolutionary chicken schnitzel bao bun with miso mayo, or Hoy Pinoy's Filipino bbq grilled skewers with regional-inspired numbers like the Inihaw na Baboy which is chargrilled pork belly with a banana ketchup glaze.

As comes standard, dietaries will be catered to—and championed—across the stalls, with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and halal options on offer. It’s a pets welcome policy, and with that in mind furry friends are catered to, too, with one of the country’s favourite pooch food companies, Scratch, serving up a dogs-only noodle box.

Like previous years, the Night Noodle Markets isn’t just an opportunity to cop a great feed. Plenty of live entertainment comes as part of the package, too. More details to come.

The 2022 Melbourne Night Noodle Markets, co-presented by Citi and Optus, will return to Birrarung Marr from Thursday 10 November until Sunday 27 November.
