Pick Your Own Sunflowers At A Ballarat Farm This Labor Day Weekend

By Ben Tyers
6th Mar 2020

If you've not already got an action-packed Labor Day weekend planned, here's a late runner to add to the mix.

Dunnstown farmers Laiken and Karl Britt are opening up their sunflower farm this weekend for you to pick your own, as many as you bloody well like.

The seeds were planted in November, and have bloomed into 200,000 sunflowers. The entry fee to the farm is $5, which includes your first picked sunflower, each stem from then on is charged at $2.

Chuck your boots on as there's bound to be snakes about, and bring your own secateurs.
