This is not a drill, everyone's fave wine fest, Pinot Palooza, is officially returning to the thirsty city of Melbourne after two years' hiatus.

That’s right, folks, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest pinot noir festival will be taking over the Timber Yard this coming May for two days of the good stuff.

Pinot Palooza will champion wines from Australia, New Zealand as well a few from further across the pond. Your ticket will give you the chance to taste test over 100 varietels, as well as access to talks with some of the best in the biz.

A cool $65 will grant you entry into the event where you can then rub shoulders with Victorian pinot royalty—and, you'll get to walk home with a Revel wine glass to treasure the memory.

Further details, like the food stall offerings at Pinot Palooza, are yet to be released. Keep an eye out here as we'll be dropping all the pinot-noir news as it comes in.

THE DETAILS

When: Friday 6 May and Saturday  7 May
Where: Timber Yard, 351 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne
