Pinot Palooza Is Returning To Melbourne For Two Pinot Noir-Fuelled Days

By Urban List Writers

Everyone's favourite wine fest, Pinot Palooza, is officially returning to the thirsty city of Melbourne after a two and a half year hiatus.

That’s right, folks, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest pinot noir festival will be taking over the Timber Yard this coming May for two days of the good stuff.

Pinot Palooza will champion wines from Australia, New Zealand as well a few from further across the pond. Your ticket will give you the chance to taste test over 150 pinots, as well as access to talks with some of the best in the biz.

This year will also see Tasmanian producers take centre stage with a hub dedicated to the region. Expect plenty of stills and sparkling from the likes of Bay of Fires, the inimitable Devil's Corner and MONA's Moorilla, to name a few.

A cool $69.61 will grant you entry into the event where you can then rub shoulders with Victorian pinot royalty—and, you'll get to walk home with a Revel wine glass to treasure the memory.

When: Friday 6 May and Saturday  7 May
Where: Timber Yard, 351 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne
