A Huge Festival Dedicated To The Doughnut Is Hitting Melbourne In July

A dozen doughnuts in a row.

To all the Homer Simpsons out there, your hopes and dreams have been answered because a huge one-day donut festival is coming to Melbourne this June. Whether you’re a donut or a doughnut fan, the festival will be jam-packed (pun intended) with OG hot jam varieties, Greek-style loukoumades, chocolate-filled doughnut balls, cinnamon rings, Spanish churros and plenty of options for those needing vegan and gluten-free varieties.

First things first, as part of the Doughnut Festival, you could win a year's worth of free doughnuts from American Doughnut Kitchen, and a $100 worth of Queen Victoria Market vouchers. All you need to do is register your details here.

As for the doughnut offerings, the list is extensive. You’ll be able to get your mitts on the delicious goods from American Doughnut Kitchen, Bistro Morgan Bakehouse, St Gerry’s Greek doughnuts and desserts, Short Stop Melbourne, Churro Kitchen, Pasta Face for a savoury bite, as well as the good, doughy stuff from Mimmo’s. Perfect for winter, the festival will also have warm beverages and live music to keep you going.

It’s all happening on Sunday 4 July from 9am to 4pm at the Queen Victoria Market. Entry is free.
