Green Out At Rice Paper Scissors’ 10-Course Vegan Degustation

By

Several earthy vegan dishes spread out on a table.

It’s back, baby. Rice Paper Scissors are resurrecting their popular monthly Vegan degustations after taking a hiatus due to lockdown. Starting back in 2018, the degustations have proven popular with punters, so now that events are back on the table, so are all their vegan delights.

With Thai and Vietnamese flavours dominating the menu, this Fitzroy favourite is putting veggies front and centre with some old favourites and some new surprises — we’re salivating already over the Malaysian roti with peanut sauce and the smoked pineapple ceviche. The mini banh mi with mock duck, pickles, coriander and sriracha mayo are also packed with flavour in every bite. There will be vegan cocktails, vegan beers and organic wines on offer to wash down your courses too.

For $55 a head, you’ll be treated to 10 courses—that’s just $5.50 a plate and a damn good deal if you ask us. Make sure you nab your spot online before it books out. It all kicks off this Saturday 6 March with several sessions available across the day.
