If you've yet to be introduced to the deliciousness that is the Cookie Dough Collective, you're in for a real treat—especially as they've just launched a decadent new brownie flavour (available for a limited time only), but more on that in a mo.
Cookie dough is one of our fave foodie vices, and thanks to the Cookie Dough Collective we can now feed our addiction whenever the heck we like. Created by the lovely Katie Portmann, this local brand can be found online and specialises in hand-held tubs of the sweet stuff, jam-packed with gourmet ingredients that can be eaten as is (no eggs and heat-treated flour make it safe to do so), or rolled into balls and baked in around eight-ten minutes for cookies of the more traditional variety. But perhaps the best news of all is that this treat can be delivered to your door, anywhere in New Zealand.
Visit the Cookie Dough Collective store online, and you'll be presented with a smorgasbord of flavours including classic choc chip, cookies & cream, birthday cake, caramel chunk and even a vegan and gluten-free dough studded with pieces of decadent Whittaker's chocolate.
However, the flavour that's reallyyy got our tastebuds working overtime is the brand's new limited-edition brownie cookie dough, which is just as drool-worthy as it sounds and takes a wonderfully rich brownie batter, then litters it with chocolate chips (don't tell your aorta). While the raw version never fails to get our mouths watering, the baked one is chewy, crispy, and equally delish. This bad boy was only released last week and sold out on its first day, however lucky for ya'll the Cookie Dough Collective have since replenished their stocks and are slinging it in all its chocolatey goodness once again (though we do advise you to be in quick should history repeat itself).
So grab yourself a tub or two of this limited-edition treat, and see what happens—if you're anything like us, little (if any) will make it to the oven...
