Move over beer and wine, it’s cider’s time to shine. Nestled among the picturesque rolling hills of Pickering Brook is the beautiful cidery and restaurant, Core Cider. This year, they’re putting on something really special for Australian Cider Day this Saturday 13 March, because what better way to celebrate than by basking in the sun with a fresh pint of bubbly, apply goodness?
If you haven’t been to Core Cider before, let us fill you in—it’s a local cidery set in a seriously beautiful location (40 acres of beauty to be exact) with live music on the lawn, delicious food, and of course their impressive array of ciders on offer.
And while you can enjoy Core Cider any day of the year, we reckon this Saturday’s Australian Cider Day celebration is the perfect opportunity to stop in for a visit. Aside from showcasing their top pours, they’ll also be running tours around the estate, which will include a tractor ride, fruit picking, and a cider tasting paddle.
After you’ve had your tour and a bite to eat, why not try one of Core Cider’s new limited release ciders? Think flavours including ginger, berries and pears. For the cocktail lovers out there, they’ve also got cider cocktails on offer. What’s not to love?
