Vic Park’s Set For A Major Glow-Up With This Dreamy New Precinct Landing This Summer

We’ve long known Vic Park’s got good bones. Killer coffee, an unbeatable Asian eats scene, and a community vibe that’s hard to beat. But this summer, it’s levelling up in a big way, with Baillie Hill, a lush, $25 million lifestyle precinct set to bring serious neighbourhood charm to this buzzing inner-city ‘burb.

This is heritage meets hospitality, and culture meets community, all wrapped up in a gorgeous hilltop space for locals to enjoy, and we’re officially jealous. Think leafy green spaces and a curated line-up of new hospo heroes ready to explore.

There’s Milly's Acre, a garden bistro meets urban homestead complete with community gardens (that you can bet precincts chefs will be foraging from) and nature inspired playground for the little ones. There’s Berwick Bar & Kitchen, a new go to for golden hour  pints, and Baillie Hill Distillery, a bespoke urban distillery producing small batch spirits. There’s bakery Beth’s, wrapping up fresh loaves and sweet pastries by day, then supplying dough to neighbour Parco Pizza for woodfired pies by night, and Greensleeves Gelato for an afternoon scoop.

And at the heart? The beautifully restored, former maternity hospital,  Elizabeth Baillie House. Designed by locals for locals, the vision here is clear: Baillie Hill is your new favourite local hang, whether you’ve lived in Vic Park forever or you’re just dropping by. From the nature inspired playground, to onsite petting zoo Baillie Stables, to the open-air market space, there’s plenty of sun-drenched spots to catch up, chill out, and snack your way through summer.

Baillie Hill officially opens this November, and trust us—you’re going to want to clear your calendar.
