If you’ve never made it up to the Coral Coast, we can’t think of one reason why you shouldn’t book a week (or three) off work, pack your swimmers and snorkel and head up to the crystal clear waters of Exmouth.

You’ll need to be ready to tick some pretty big items off your bucket list—snorkelling with turtles, swimming with whale sharks, checking out humpback whales—this part of the world is nothing short of incredible.

From true blue Aussie outback stays, to something a little more contemporary and glam—we’ve rounded up the best accommodation in and around Exmouth.

Resorts And Eco-Retreats

Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef

Perched on the Ningaloo Reef is Sal Salis, an eco-friendly luxury beach camp with wilderness tents offering jaw-dropping views of the surrounding bushland and Indian Ocean. With only 15 eco-tents on site, this is bush luxury at its finest.

Exmouth Escape Resort

Stay in the heart of Exxy with self contained apartments at Exmouth Escape Resort. If you get tired of wading in those warm Indian Ocean waters and snorkelling on the hunt for turtles, you can kick back by the resort’s pool with a drink in hand.

Mantarays is the premium option if you’re looking for something a little more upmarket while visiting this seriously stunning part of the world. Grab a cocktail, head to the pool and take in those spectacular ocean views.

Luxe Pod Glamping

Book yourself in at a campsite and the guys behind this glamping set up will have you ready to go in their cosy and classy pop-top caravan. With everything provided, you just rock up, jump in and enjoy the ride.

Luxe Holiday Homes

27 Kestrel Place

What we really love about this house is the outdoor entertaining area—stunning pool, decking, sun beds, an epic BBQ area and its own jetty - it’s the perfect place for a group to get together, kick back and relax over a bevvie or two.

32 Corella Court

You’ll wake up feeling fine as you sip your coffee on the upstairs balcony and look out over the marina from this indulgent holiday home. There’s direct access to the canals with your own jetty and a private pontoon—just in case you’ve got a massive boat. The pool’s pretty great too.

The Sanctuary

Sit back with a G&T and take in the incredible sunset views from the deck knowing that you’ve booked your crew an epic spot to rest their heads whilst in this ridiculously good looking part of the world. A pool, your own jetty and plenty of room to relax - this place has it all.

20 Madaffari Drive

Outdoor shower, pool, canal views, theatre room and an outdoor kitchen—what else could you possibly need? Spend your days snorkelling the crystal clear waters of Cape Range National Park and settle back in for nights of R&R at this gorgeous holiday home.

Campsites And Station Stays

RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park

A road trip up the Coral Coast is something that needs to be on your bucket list. Get yourself up to Exxy, explore the town and settle in at the RAC Park. There’s stacks of affordable sites for camping and caravans as well as cabins and chalets so you’re quite literally set no matter what’s your style.

Yardie Homestead

Outside of Exmouth at the entrance to the Cape Range National Park lies the Yardie Homestead. There’s campsites, chalets, cabins and shearers quarters surrounded by rugged ranges and an awe-inspiring coastline where you can explore an underwater paradise.

Giralia Station Stay

Just over an hour from Exxy, you can escape the masses and get set up for full wilderness camping away from the homestead or enjoy the on site amenities at one of the station’s bush camps. There’s also a cottage and budget rooms for those a little less adventurous.

Bullara Station

If you’re looking for an authentic outback station stay, Bullara ticks all the boxes. The working cattle station has bush camping and cottage options, complete with communal fire pits, camp kitchens, wood BBQs and under the star showers.
