Who says Christmas markets have to mean frosty fingers, spilt mulled wine, and skating on thin ice? Perth/Boorloo is decking the halls with a sleigh full of local Chrissy markets where gift hunting is far more merry than stressful.

We're all about swapping the mega shopping centre madness for handmade treasures, quirky finds and a whole lot of local love. It’s still early days but don’t worry, we'll be jingling all the way through December adding more festive markets as they pop up.

From beachside bazaars to twilight wonderlands, these are the spots to snag secret Santa gems, stuff stockings with style and fuel your festive fun.

Made on the Left Christmas Market

Perth’s OG handmade Christmas market returns to Freo for 2026, bigger, brighter and bursting with WA-made goodness. Happening Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 November, Made on the Left brings over 100 of the state’s most creative artists and designers together in Fremantle’s Esplanade Park, showcasing everything from quirky jewellery and sustainable fashion to small-batch skincare, original art and treasures you won’t find anywhere else. This is always a fave of mine come Christmas time. Entry is free, it's family- and dog-friendly, and talented Perth creators and makers behind the producst are always down for a yarn.  

Christmas Markets @ the Quay

Elizabeth Quay, The Esplanade, Perth WA | 5 December

Christmas at the Quay is bringing serious festive vibes to the waterfront with 60+ local makers slinging boutique gifts, fashion, art and more, plus free family fun like face painting, lawn games and Santa visits. Stick around after dark to wander through the dazzling Bridge of Light, the final stop on the Rio Tinto Christmas Lights Trail.

Sunday Treasures Christmas Market

Mawson Park, 22 Mawson Crescent, Hillarys WA 6025 | 6 December

Sunday Treasures is going full tinsel for its Christmas edition at Mawson Park. Expect a shady, picnic-friendly spread of local stalls, gourmet bites and brunch-to-lunch food vendors, plus live music and festive gifts to tick off the list. If it’s anything like last year, the kids can get their faces painted, pat the animals and ride a pony while you shop. Just leave the pooch at home, as Mawson Park is dog-free under council rules.

The team behind the Perth Hills Artisan Markets is bringing its bright, colourful, indoor artisan market to MARC for a Christmas special on Saturday 19 December, 9am–2pm.
