We don’t know about you but the word ‘bottomless’ ignites something in us. You just know you’re in for a raucous and tasty time with your besties. Lucky for us, Perth’s beloved inner city pub, Market Ground, has brought back its Sip Sip Sessions in celebration of the mercury and all-around good vibes rising.
As the name suggests, you can sip your way through a session of free-flowing cocktails—as well as wine, sparkling, cider and beer if you’re that way inclined—paired perfectly with a three-course menu featuring fresh shared plates.
To start, get your graze on with watermelon, feta, almond and mint salad, summer tofu rolls with spicy dipping sauce, and kingfish ceviche with coconut cream and kaffir lime. Then, tuck into a smorgasbord of tempura soft shell crab with cucumber salad and cashews, Thai grilled chicken with spicy tamarind sauce and glass noodle salad with wood fungus mushrooms and tofu, before balancing it all out with a pineapple cigar and sticky rice dessert.
While August was dedicated to all things gin, each month serves up a refreshing combination of three new cocktail recipes to wash it all down with and September’s hero cocktail is the fruity and fun tropical long island iced tea—a cocktail, served up three ways, that’ll certainly get you into the spring spirit. Plus, every table is equipped with a DIY garnish board so you can get creative and personalise your bevvy to your desired party snaps.
The best bit? The two-hour bottomless Sip Sip Session is only $79pp. Now, we might not be good at the ol’ math but if you crunch a few numbers that’s a really sweet two-hour deal.
