Brabham’s New Local Is About To Open Its Doors
This friendly neighbourhood pub is shaping up to be the epicentre for family meet-ups and sports nights with friends alike. With an epic kids' playground, an expansive beer garden, live entertainment and a dedicated Sports Bar, Brabham Hotel has got everything you need and then some.
Say goodbye to restless kids at the dinner table. At Brabham Hotel, families can let the little ones loose on the large-scale outdoor playground within the beer garden, or in the internal kids' playroom conveniently positioned right beside the bistro, so you can dine and relax without ever losing sight of them. The beer garden itself offers something for everyone, from live music to big screens showing live sport, with plenty of sprawling space for locals to settle in year-round.
Sports fan? The dedicated Sports Bar is built for laid-back afternoons watching the game live and loud, complete with TAB facilities, drinks on tap and a solid lineup of bar snacks.
And, of course, there's the food. Brabham Hotel's bistro menu is exactly what you want from a good local: generous, classic with a modern edge, and thoroughly kid-friendly. Expect everything from pub favourites like parmis and fish and chips to oven-roasted barramundi and crispy eggplant, plus heartier options like a winter-ready Shepherd's Pie with greens and gravy or a Bang Bang salad if you're after something lighter.
To celebrate, Brabham Hotel is throwing a jam-packed Locals Weekend from Friday, 31 July to Sunday, 2 August. Friday kicks off with Spin the Wheel, a meat raffle and live music from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Saturday brings a special guest appearance from West Coast Eagles legend Nic Naitanui from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, followed by more live music into the evening. Sunday rounds things out with a Teddy Bears Picnic pop-up, face painting and free kids' entertainment from midday, before live music takes over from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.
Beyond opening weekend, locals can look forward to a regular lineup including $8 wines and $10 pints during Monday to Friday Happy Hour, Wednesday trivia nights with $26 parmi specials, Thursday Steak Day and a $35 Sunday roast served until sold out.
