After a delayed and reduced festival last year due to COVID, Cabin Fever is back in all its cosy glory. Running from Friday 16 to Sunday 25 July, the 10-day festival will see over 35 mouth-watering events pop up across the Margaret River region—providing loads of opportunities to devour all the food, wine and beer your body can handle.
As expected, the first program release was so popular, loads of the events have already sold out. But thankfully, the legends at Cabin Fever announced last night they'll be throwing two special taster events which will see two of Cabin Fever's most popular south west chef's heat things up right here Perth.
First up, acclaimed chef Evan Hayter of Arimia Estate will team up with Heritage Wine Bar's chef Gord Kahle for an intimate collab dinner on Wednesday 23 June. Expect an intimate evening of sustainable eats with four courses, snacks and beautiful wines from Arimia and other local producers.
Meanwhile, Saltbush Dining's Dylan Brice is heading to The Humble Onion in Perth to join forces with chef Chris Howard for a relaxed long lunch on Sunday 11 July. The menu is 100% West Australian, so come prepared to feast on the freshest local produce, with some of it even grown on the rooftop where you'll be dining and some foraged in the south west by Brice himself.
If the last ticket drops are anything to go by, we suggest you act quick. Trust us, you’ll be kicking yourself if you miss out.
