If you were already planning long winter weekends down south, drinking wine by a fire, the team at Cabin Fever are about to blow those plans out of the water. If weekends like that weren’t in your plans, you might want to re-think and re-prioritise quick smart.
After being forced to cancel in the wake of COVID, then pivoting to a digital festival, Cabin Fever has finally got the green light to throw their epic festival in real life, albeit a shorter version than we’re used to.
What is usually a 10-day festival full of all the food and wine your body could handle, Cabin Fever has been condensed into a long weekend going on from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July. But just because it’s short, doesn’t mean we have to miss out on any of the goodness.
The classic Fondue by the Fire at Howard Park is back and you’d be mad to miss it—there’s nothing better than melted cheese and wine in the middle of winter. We also wouldn’t miss the Mulled Wine and Spice Masterclass with the Spice Mistress, the Rise and Dine Brunch and Voyager or Atypica—An Alternate Varietals Wine Tasting at Happs Wines.
Unfortunately, if you weren’t an early bird, a few favourites like The Cheese Toastie Battle and Sensei Miki’s Ramen Masterclass sold out, but you can always register your interest in case there are cancellations.
Until then, check out more things to do in Perth.
