From premium wine bars to cult-followed international food names, the precinct is steadily revealing the lineup that will define its massive new dining and entertainment hub. Urban Food District’s New Additions Bring Big Las Vegas Energy to Crown Perth

The announcements start coming, and they don’t stop coming. Fresh off the back of the news that LA fave Eggslut is joining Crown’s Urban Food District development, they’ve announced two huge new venues joining the lineup, and they’re bringing some serious Las Vegas style to little old Perth. 

Cult Las Vegas slice shop Side Piece Pizza is first up, making its Australian debut. Expect big New York-style slices, bold toppings and Side Piece’s signature cheek. 

Also joining the precinct is Tekka Bar, another Vegas import, bringing its premium Japanese hand rolls and curated sake to Australia for the first time. Inspired by Japan’s historic Tekka Ba district, the menu focuses on made-to-order rolls like spicy tuna and blue crab, as well as a selection of hand-picked traditional sake.

In huge news for Perth food lovers, Crown Perth has just revealed the first major dining venue joining its Urban Food District, with Burgers by ES, the first Australian outpost of American cult favourite Eggslut, officially opening in February 2026.

Known globally for its iconic egg sandwiches and stacked burgers, the LA-born sensation will bring classics like the Fairfax and Gaucho to Perth, alongside brand-new creations crafted just for WA. Opening February 2026, it marks a massive moment for Crown’s new precinct — and for Perth’s food scene at large.

We’ve been eagerly awaiting more detail since Crown Perth announced the impending arrival of its Urban Food District development, and here it is. Meet Gladstones, a wine bar and a taste of what’s to come with the full development. 

Gladstones is the first of three bars that’ll be sitting pretty in Urban Food District, an intimate, fifty seater premium wine bar designed to celebrate our rich local wine heritage and the truly exceptional vintages that come out of WA. Sounds luxe. 

The wider Urban Food District is Crown Perth’s most sizable investment in nearly a decade, so we’re expecting big things from this space. Alongside three bars, there’s a beer garden and international food hall in the works, offering a melting pot of cocktails and cuisines for local and international visitors.
