American Nostalgia Hits Perth’s North As Australia’s Very First Dave & Buster’s Opens
Few, if any, do arcade games, baskets of wings and pints of frothy beer better than America, and the best of the best? Dave & Buster's. After years of rumours and whispers, the cult favourite has finally made its way to Australian shores.
Opening in Clarkson this Saturday 16 May, the chain is bringing its signature game-packed midway, American-style dining and family fun to Perth’s north. Between the sprawling arcade and multiple dining sections, the new entertainment behemoth has room for 800, all under one very loud, neon-lit roof.

Expect two distinct dining sections: one boasting that signature American-style service (think drink refills and tableside service), and another with a more casual approach where you can grab a table then order at the bar. Luckily for sports fans, both sections boast a direct view of the mammoth WOW Wall, a 40-foot custom-built screen where you can catch the day’s game live. And if your sport of choice isn’t showing on the big screen, we can almost guarantee you’ll find it somewhere else, with a further 30 ultra-HD displays scattered throughout the venue. Expect everything from live UFC fights to footy screenings pumping through the sports lounge, dining spaces and VIP booths.
Food-wise, the menu leans heavily into big American energy. Think towering burgers, woodfired pizzas, loaded nachos, wings with eight different sauce options and fried pickle slices designed for sharing. There are also a few nods to Aussie pub culture in the mix, including chicken parmis and scotch fillet, alongside grazing boards, salads and a dedicated kids menu.

The drinks menu follows suit, with more than 13 beers on tap and 32 cocktails ranging from classics through to signature serves like the Matcha Power Sour, made with Toki Japanese whisky and matcha.
When you’re ready, hit the midway where you’ll find more than 75 arcade games, including cult-favourite experiences like the Dave & Buster Plush Bus, alongside a couple of WA exclusives: UFC Challenge and JJ Bot Avatar. There’s room for up to 110 players gaming at once, plus a dedicated Win Room where tickets can be traded for prizes ranging from novelty merch to a signed Alice Cooper guitar.
