We may not be able to journey to the far corners of the globe right now, but our eyes and mind are free to wander all they like. So what better time to explore Edicole, the brand new inner-city book haven within this iconic State Buildings precinct.

Sitting pretty in the grand Postal Hall, the new book boutique is home to a thoughtfully curated selection of over 350 titles—think impossible to ignore coffee-table books on everything art, travel, architecture, music, film and fashion, as well as hand-picked fiction and non-fiction novels from Australian and international authors.

The one-of-a-kind destination promises to provide plenty of rare, hard-to-find publications for the avid literary fan, as well beautiful books for creative inspiration, and endless reads that would make the perfect gift.

But of course, as is all things in the State Buildings, it’s the extra service that really sets this store apart. Alongside the off-the-shelf titles, they are also providing a signature subscription service, tailored to each individual reader, where you’ll receive a fresh hand-picked book each month, delivered right to your door. How good!

Edicole is now open from 12pm ‘til 5pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm ‘til 8pm Friday, and 2pm ‘til 6pm Saturday. Drop by to check out all the written delights on offer.

When you’re done, you can head over to Post for a bite to eat.
