In the only news you need to hear this week, a massive new 10-day festival is coming to Margaret River this Spring dedicated to all things wine. From tastings and tours, masterclasses, dinners and exclusive drops, Fine Vines Festival is here to make your wine-loving dreams come true.
Brought to us us by the crew behind Cabin Fever Festival—one of our fave winter events in the south west—the new Fine Vines Festival will run from Friday 15 October through to Sunday 24 October, with over 35 wine-fueled events popping up throughout iconic Margaret River venues like Vasse Felix, Voyager, Hayshed Hill, Howard Park, Leeuwin Estate, Flametree and more.
The full program will be released later this month, but they’ve given us a little taste of what’s to come and honestly it’s got something for everyone. For us, it’s the Pet Nat Party over at Dunsborough’s Bungalow Social, which combines funky pours of the region’s favourite pet nats alongside fried chicken snacks and chilled DJ beats. But depending on your preference, you could also hit up Vasse Felix’s indulgent six-course chardonnay dinner, Flametree’s elegant rosé tasting evening, Howard Park’s sparkling sundowner, or Domaine Naturaliste’s syrah and charcuterie feast—just to name a few.
Want to up the ante? You really can’t beat Wine on the Water with Clairault Striecker. You’ll be living your best life on board a 20-metre catamaran, soaking up beautiful sunset views with a wine in one hand and canapés in the other, all while trying to catch a glorious glimpse of local whales. Sounds pretty good, right?
Tickets and the full program will be released late June, but why not start scoping out Margaret River accommodation now. Trust us, you won’t want to miss out.
