The legendary Fremantle Arts Centre has just announced its massive 2023 return of the Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists exhibition opening on 6 May and running until 23 July. This wildly celebrated exhibit will showcase over 300 stunning new and emerging First Nations artists. There'll also be incredible artist talks and a special opening week celebration where art lovers can share in important conversations around the myriad of rich cultures and communities this ancient continent is connected by.

After two years in an online format, the Revealed Art Market is back bigger than ever with an epic one-day-only market kicking off on Saturday 5 May, highlighting the extraordinary talent of First Nations artists working across a variety of mediums including textiles, carved artefacts, homewares, prints, clothing, ceramics and jewellery.

This sustainable market aims to provide an ethical avenue for purchasing original art from art centres and independent artists across the state, with 100% of profits returning directly to the participants and people who deserve it.

All taking place around the lush grounds of the Freo Arts Centre, the market is an ideal way to spend a Saturday afternoon strolling through the heritage hallways and frolicking the grassy gardens of this beloved Fremantle institution. Make sure you head there for the opening night event to catch the most remote rock and roll band in the world, The Desert Stars, take to the stage.

To keep tabs on all of the exciting events that will take place, ensure to follow their socials and start deciding which blank walls you’ll fill with your new stellar artworks.
