PowerPlay Perth
Bibra Lake, Joondalup and Malaga
PowerPlay is basically real-life Mario Kart—but sleeker, faster and without the banana peels. These state-of-the-art karts are every bit as smooth and speedy as you'd hope and each venue features a massive two-level indoor track packed with ramps, bridges, tunnels and wide corners that’ll have you sliding like a pro (eventually). The karts are 100% electric too, so you can enjoy that eco-friendly adrenaline rush without the stink of exhaust fumes.
With Rally Pro Glenn Macneall behind the concept, every PowerPlay circuit is built for pure fun and fierce competition, with a live scoreboard flashing up lap times in real time so there’s no debating who’s fastest. And if you’re not quite ready to call it a night, head to the Game Zone for some classic arcade action post-race.
Want to really take things up a notch? Lock in a spot at Lights Out—a high-speed, adults-only race night where the only thing lighting your way is the glow of your kart headlights. You'll tear through three 15-lap heats before the top eight racers battle it out in a winner-takes-all 18-lap final. The victor takes the podium and a bottle of bubbly—or does a shoey, your call.
Regular races start at $37 for an 18-lap round or $67 for two rounds and there are family passes, date night packages (complete with helmet cams and arcade tokens) and full venue hire options if you’re planning your next event or team party.
The Kart Centre
27 Baile Rd, Canning Vale WA 6155
Designed by racers, for racers, The Kart Centre delivers a high-tech go karting experience that caters to everyone—from total newbies to full-blown speed freaks. The 230-metre indoor track packs in 12 technical corners and a few sneaky high-speed straights to really test your reflexes, with a top-tier barrier system that absorbs impact and keeps things safe even when you're pushing the limits.
The brand new Sodi GT5S karts are French-built, just like the pros use, and if you manage to finesse your skills, you can hit speeds of up to 50km/h. You can opt for a single kart or team up in a double so it’s a brilliant intro for kids and beginners, but still plenty thrilling for those chasing serious lap times.
Prices start at $37.50 for a single 10-minute race or $65 for two, and yep, there’s party packages and corporate bookings to suss out. If you're not ready to call it quits after racing, you can throw a few axes at their in-house axe throwing experience or test your swing at the onsite cricket centre.
Hi Voltage
4 Hubert St, Belmont WA 6104
Hi Voltage isn’t just a go kart track—it’s a full-blown entertainment hub for anyone chasing high-speed thrills. Home to WA’s largest indoor circuit, this Belmont spot spans a huge 3500sqm with over 350 metres of track and 7-metre-wide lanes, giving you plenty of room to test your cornering skills and open the throttle. The custom-built electric karts deliver a smooth, torque-heavy drive (aka instant acceleration) that’s as fun for beginners as it is for seasoned speed demons.
You can roll solo in a single kart or pair up in a duo, and if you’re racing with little ones, it’s the only spot in WA with indoor junior karts for ages 7–11. No fumes, no noise—just smooth, silent power that makes racing feel smooth and modern. Once you’ve clocked your best lap time, settle in for a well-earned drink at the licensed bar, grab a bite at the on-site café or kick on with one of their party packages (yes, they do catering too).
Races start from $35 for one 10-minute session (plus in and out laps), or $65 for two sessions. There are also duo kart options available if you want to ride with a mate or little co-pilot.
If a day out with the whole crew is on the cards, there’s even more fun off the track—like two glow-in-the-dark mini golf courses imported from Canada, and a kid-friendly indoor play centre that’ll keep the little legends busy while you race.
Mega Fast Karts
Wanneroo and Cockburn
Looking for that real-deal raceway energy? Mega Fast Karts is where you want to be. With tracks at both Wanneroo and Cockburn, this crew gives you the rare chance to unleash your inner F1 driver on a proper motorsport circuit—complete with sweeping straights, tight turns and all the heart-pounding action you can handle. Wanneroo is the flagship location, operating on the legendary Tiger Kart Club tracks where racing greats like Daniel Ricciardo and Garth Tander first cut their teeth.
Both venues cater to every level of driver, with junior and senior karts, plus solo and duo options for those who prefer to ride with a co-pilot. You can drop in for a 10-minute session from $45, or if you've got a rev head group, go all out and book a Grand Prix-style experience. Perfect for birthdays, bucks or corporate showdowns, you'll get practice laps, multiple race heats, Sodi karts, pro-level timing systems and a properly prepped race surface to make it feel legit. Choose from mini, midi or mega race formats depending on how competitive you're feeling.
