Uber Cool Hotel Brand HYDE Brings A New Rhythm To Perth’s Hotel Scene in 2026

Perth’s hotel scene is scoring a seriously cool upgrade in 2026, with the arrival of cult scene hotel chain HYDE to Pier Street. And while we say hotel chain, HYDE is really anything but, with each hotel a bespoke creation designed with location in mind.

If you’re not familiar with the Hyde brand, it’s a hell of a lot more than just hotels. The spaces are all about discovering what can happen when the right people and the right vibe come together in the right space, and communal spaces are designed to foster connection and belonging accordingly. Think bohemian aesthetics, music-led spaces, creative hubs, and club vibes courtesy of their roots in the 2000s LA club scene. 

And you can expect all that energy to land in Perth as well. The 121-room hotel marks HYDE’s first ever purpose built hotel, meaning you’ll see the brand's signature touch over everything. Inside, you can expect to find warm, coastal European energy–think lots of texture, hand-laid stone and terracotta hues, all heightened by sensory layers like a signature scent inspired by local botanicals.

Of course, they’ll be retaining their signature club-like pulse, given a WA twist, with DJ residencies, live sets, wellness sessions, and cultural takeovers, all shaped in collaboration with local artists, makers, and musicians. 

At the heart of the space is FARRA, a dining concept designed for long-lunches, poolside grazing, and late-night cocktails. The Mediterranean-leaning restaurant unfolds across the dining space, pool and terrace, with a pool deck that shifts with the energy of the day.

HYDE Perth is set to open in March 2026, with bookings already open.
