See The Magic Of The Kimberley Without Leaving Perth At This New VR Experience

By

When a Hemsworth speaks, we listen. Now, WA Museum Boola Bardip is bringing the soothing sounds of one of the brothers from our very own royal family to Perth/Boorloo with The Great Kimberley Wilderness, an immersive virtual reality documentary narrated by Luke Hemsworth himself.

Premiering in Perth on 23 November, The Great Kimberley Wilderness is like a 35-minute joy ride above and beyond Kimberley’s beautiful-yet-brutal landscape.

With a Hemsworth in your ear, you’ll fly high above the remote red dirt, cruise past the thundering King George Falls, hover through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park, and travel back over 350 million years to the great Devonian Reef to explore ancient geology.

Though the distinct voice is equal parts dulcet and desirable, it does not distract you from the beauty of this spectacular pocket of the world. Untamed, rugged and ravishing, there is nowhere on Earth quite like the Kimberley.

Produced by White Spark Pictures and guided by both the land’s Traditional Owners and modern science, this is your chance to witness the staggering scale of the Kimberley through a spectacular 360-degree VR cinema experience, complete with surround sound system and large-scale digital projections blanketing the gallery wall.

Be one of the first to catch this immersive doco at WA Museum before it’s rolled out to several museums in Australia and overseas from April 2025.

Plus, you'll bag big discounts for twelve months—trust us when we say The Great Kimberley Wilderness is the kind of doco you’ll want to see more than once.
