Laneway Festival has dropped its set times, and with them, the annual tradition of optimism, denial and eventual compromise. This year’s lineup is stacked in a way that feels personal, with multiple once-in-a-festival clashes baked right into the schedule.

From indie legends and pop stars to cult heroes and late-night chaos merchants, here’s exactly who’s playing when, where you’ll need to make sacrifices (sorry), and how to plan your day without sprinting between stages like you’re training for a marathon.

Still on the fence? Get down: There are still tickets available in your city.

How Do I Get To Laneway?

Laneway Festival is landing at Arena Joondalup this year, so make your travel plans stat. Public transport is always our rec for festival transportation, especially since Arena Joondalup is in walking distance from Joondalup Train Station on the Yanchep Line. And with public transport fees including with your ticket, why wouldn't you.

We recommend using the Transperth Journey Planner to plan your route.

Walking directions from Joondalup Train Station:

  • From the train station head slightly south to Collier Pass
  • Walk west along Collier Pass footpath to Joondalup Drive
  • Cross under Joondalup Drive by using the pedestrian underpass
  • Walk north along Joondalup Drive to Kennedya Drive
  • Follow the directions of traffic controllers, event staff and Police

If this isn't your vibe, you can get dropped off and picked up via taxi or rideshare. The drop point will be within walking distance of Arena Joondalup, on Moore Drive. Keep in mind, there will be extensive road closures nearby, so it may take longer than expected.

Can I Park At Arena Joondalup?

‍Technically, you can road trip it up to Joondalup with your crew, but note that nearby parking will be very limited, and extensive road closures will apply in surrounding areas. Pay close attention to street signs when parking to ensure you can park there for the duration of the event, and give yourself plenty of time to find a parking spot and stake your claim.

If you're still committed to the drive and you're planning to head back home after the festival, make sure you've got a trusty deso driver to keep everyone safe on the roads afterwards.

Food and Drinks Inside

There will be plenty of bars and food vendors available inside the venue, so don't stress about going hungry. The bars will be stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options, and there will be a variety of food stalls catering for most dietary requirements.

There will also be free water stations around the venue, so bringing an empty reusable water bottle is the best way to keep filling up and staying hydrated in the heat!
