Pickleball and padel ball are Perth's biggest wellness obsessions since pilates and strawberry matcha lattes. We're calling it, this is going to be the biggest sporting trend of the summer.
If you’re unfamiliar with the sport, pickleball is tennis’s chilled-out cousin. It uses rubber paddles similar to ping pong, slightly heavier plastic wiffle balls, and more compact, badminton-sized courts (which means way less running—yay). You can play indoors or outdoors with two to four players, and just like tennis, the goal is to hit the ball over the net without letting your opponent return it.

West Coast Padel

Overlooking the Swan River, Dalkeith’s West Coast Padel could be Perth’s best padel spot with a view. The club opened in 2024 and features multiple courts, as well as ways to book. Opt for a peak time booking ($15pp), off-peak ($10pp) or weekend court hire ($12 per hour). Racquet hires are an additional $5pp, and balls are available to purchase from the vending machine
The club’s manager Sebastián Dávalos is available to help with bookings, lessons and corporate events (hello team bonding). And for any post-padel thirsts, mosey on over to the bowling club after to enjoy a few hard-earned bevvys.
Padel Perth Reabold

Perth’s original home of padel, Floreat’s courts still do it better than most. Padel-obsessed sisters Vanesa and Silvia Gonzalez-Quinones brought their love of the sport all the way from their home country of Spain, creating three outdoor courts for the community to enjoy.
Court hire starts at $48 an hour, and they offer different peak and off-peak rates. Racquets are available to hire for $5pp, and if you’re looking for a little more one-on-one help, group coaching sessions start from $35pp. The club really values getting their community together and socialising, and have social events running throughout the week. When you're ready to commit, hit their pro shop for some new gear to level up your game.
Padel Crush

Perth’s brand new padel spot has just opened up alongside one of the most popular walking spots, Galup/Lake Monger. Padel Crush, located at the bowls club, is home to four brand-new Padel courts. Hourly bookings start from $72 per court.
The spot also offers multiple classes to the public. These classes range in levels, catering to everyone from beginners to advanced. Social sessions are available for anyone wanting to enjoy some friendly competition. The social sessions are grouped into different skill levels, so you need not worry about being unevenly matched.
Padel 360

Cockburn’s first Padel club, south of the river locals - rejoice! Padel 360 is a large outdoor multi-court facility. Also the first Adidas Padel club in Australia, padel-goers have the opportunity to choose from four different courts. The club is currently expanding to include a restaurant and pro shop.
For anyone looking to make some new like-minded friends and connections, the club offers ‘Padel Socials’, where you can come along to a 1.5-hour session, play three different games and post-game enjoy a coffee on the house. They also include some cool sessions for a range of skills and abilities. Some of these include: junior paddle academy, cardio padel, and private coaching. Court hire starts from $50 an hour.
Padel West

Melville’s home of Padel, Padel West, features two spacious outdoor courts, where players can hire courts from 6 am to 10 pm. The brainchild of two tennis-turned-padel lovers, Ashwin Sharma and Zach Itzstein, found their love of the sport on a trip to France. They founded their Padel location back in 2022, and since then have been sharing their love of the international sport.
Court bookings start from $10pp in off-peak times, and then range from here. They also provide racquets under the booking fee. For $20pp, you can also pop along to their select social sessions. The club offers a monthly membership for lots of great perks.

Perth city has just landed the ultimate Padel spot. Located right in the heart of the city, this new padel hub will be the home of six doubles and one singles court. And they’re not forgetting everyone’s favourite part of sport - socialising. The hub will be home to so many good features: a bar, kiosk, sauna and an ice bath. The inclusion of Padel, sauna, and ice bath under one roof makes it so much easier to tick off your wellness needs all in one go.
Set to open in late 2026, Perth locals are already getting excited for the launch. Perth Padel players have been following the process behind Padel Social on their Instagram. Osborne Park’s new home of Padel is coming this year. With another location in Botany, Sydney, Bounce Padel has established itself as a modern spot where members will be able to connect, relax and enjoy padel. Guests can expect multiple indoor courts, a recovery facility and a clubhouse where you are sure to stay for more than just one drink.
Beyond the usual sporting club, Bounce Padel is bringing their community together for curated events. Launch events, smashable tastings and instant mornings are some events members will have to look forward to. Perth’s location is expected to be finished before the end of the year, and founding memberships will soon become available. A space for connection, movement and enjoyment. This new club is merging aesthetics and Padel ball together, in the best way possible. Unlike anything Perth’s ever seen before, Sundown Padel will be Perth’s first completely indoor social padel club. They’re giving some love to south of the river locals, with the club’s home located in Bibra Lake. The space will feature five spacious Padel courts.
Their vision is as follows: a premium clubhouse where padel players can come together for social connection, decompression and unwinding and opportunities for coaching. Their clubhouse will be home to not only their premium courts, but also cafes and social spaces for pre/post match catch-ups. A new hub of padel, wellness and social connection. This upcoming Padel and wellness centre is located just on the outskirts of Fremantle, in Beaconsfield. Currently still in its development stages, the Freo community has been given some exciting sneak peeks into the new facility.
Padel lovers, beginners and just anyone looking for a new outdoor activity- this new sport is perfect for a fun workout. The hub features five courts and an additional four covered courts. For a post-workout snack or drink, a café and social space will be located at the centre of the courts. And if you didn’t work out enough of a sweat already, saunas will be available for use at the hub. Updates on the process are shown on their Instagram, and their founding memberships are soon to be announced.

Luckily for Bibra Lake locals, another premium padel club will be hitting the suburb this year. Coming very soon, Method Padel is in its development stages, and locals couldn’t be more excited. They’re joining ocean and clay together to form some of the most aesthetic padel courts I have personally ever seen.
Guests of the club will be excited to know they’ll be able to use four panoramic double courts, a mezzanine viewing platform, a rehab suite and in-house coaching. The brand new build, created by Built Form Capital, will also feature a licensed café bar. Their vision: The Game, The Method, The Club.
