If you love all things Fringe, you'll wanna take note of this hot new arts and cultural festival from the same crew. Taking over Northbridge this July, RE//Perth will bring an enticing mix of food, culture and family fun to the city this winter—from roasted marshmallows and mulled wine to never before-seen-dance and acrobatics.
Dig Into A Long Table Degustation
The festival program has been thoughtfully curated into four parts, and it’s no surprise RE//BIRTH, a selection of incredible Western Australian food events, takes the top spot on our list. At the heart of RE//BIRTH lies The Banquet, a luxurious long table degustation led by none other than Fervor’s culinary genius Chef Paul 'Yoda' Iskov, taking centre stage on 5 and 6 July.
Taking food lovers on a journey through the flavours of Western Australia's finest native and seasonal produce, every dish is a true masterpiece. From dainty seafood delights to hearty bush-inspired creations, each course tells a story of the land, the sea, and the people who call this beautiful corner of the world home. And what's a feast without wine? Fear not, as local winemakers Chouette and L.A.S. Vino have handpicked a selection to perfectly complement each dish, elevating your dining experience to a new level.
Witness Boundary Pushing Circus Spectacles
The festival’s RE//FLECTION is home to the headlining hero performance The Mirror, presented by award-winning artists Gravity & Other Myths. Featuring playful electronic compositions and pop mash-ups alongside contemporary circus, The Mirror is an awe-inspiring exhibition that will leave you revelling in the beauty of human connection and art.
Enjoy Interactive Art With The Whole Family
Families with little adventurers can explore a heap of free kids' activities at RE//PLAY where a medley of winter fun awaits during the school holidays. From interactive art installations to live performances, toasted marshmallows and snowflake projections, RE//PLAY is a playground for the young and young at heart.
Take Part In Workshops Focussed On Fashion And The Future
Completing the four-part festival is the explorative RE//PURPOSE, a workshop space hosting interactive education about ethical fashion and sustainable practices. Led by Melbourne artists from The House Of Fast Fashun, it's a space to learn, grow, and make a difference.
RE//PERTH hits Perth this July, with a 10-day festival happening over the school holidays (4-14 July), and the hero event running from 2-27 July.
