Perth’s coast  is having a serious moment right now, and the latest beachside venue we’re getting excited about is beach club pop-up Sorrento Beach Club, landing at Sorrento Quay. From the team behind Hillary’s Beach Club and the soon to open Hillary’s Beach Club, as well as Bar Ole, this one’s bringing coastal calm and Mediterranean vibes just in time for summer.

Sorrento Beach Club will be taking over the former Beach House SQ site, sitting right on the water’s edge. Think panoramic ocean views, a breezy fit-out, and space for 500 sun-chasers, where you can stroll straight off the sand for a breezy cocktail or a long lunch.

The menu delivers modern Mediterranean with a coastal twist—think baked feta with honey, tuna carpaccio with ouzo dressing, crispy calamari, stacked gyros, and what we’ve been promised will be the best steak sandwich on the coast. On the drinks front, expect local WA wines, a curated cocktail list, and icy CUB beers and ciders on tap.

Open seven days a week from 11.30am, the venue will also feature an early morning coffee kiosk, perfect for early risers grabbing a flat white by the water.  As the day rolls on, the vibes shift seamlessly from seaside chill to sunset session, with live DJs every Friday to Sunday, including what’s tipped to be the biggest Sunday Session on the coast, thanks to a collab with Perth’s Together Group.

Sorrento Beach Club is set to open Saturday 9 November.
