If you’ve ever tried to secure a last minute Airbnb booking or lined up at Merchant & Maker for a coffee on a Sunday, you’ll know Dunsborough is hardly a sleepy little coastal town these days.
Smack bang in between Busselton and Margaret River, flanked by world-class beaches, vineyards and nature trails, the chic coastal hot spot continues to grow in popularity each year—with an expanding list of food, drink and retail destinations adding to the allure. Until now though, there’s not really been anywhere in town to stay amongst all the action.
Enter Southcamp, Dunsborough’s slick new holiday hub in the heart of town. Offering bespoke tiny home and apartment-style accommodation alongside a brewhouse, cafe and grocer, the new Southcamp village is ticking all the boxes and then some.

With Miles Hull (Quarter Acre, Jetty Bar Eats and Ruinbar) behind Southcamp’s brewhouse and cafe, you’re in very good hands here.
The brewhouse has hit the relaxed coastal brief perfectly, with two chilled beer halls wrapped around a breezy village green, kitted out with pillows and picnic rugs. There’s even a sandpit and play area for the kiddos and a little stage space for the live gigs to come.

At the bar, you’ll find a cracking range of beers brewed on-site in partnership with Wilson Brewing Co. Each one is super crushable and designed to hit just right after your day at the beach, although don’t stress there's great wines and cocktails too if that’s more your vibe. Throw on some tacos, pizzas and other crowd-pleasing pub grub and settle on the lawn. Trust us, this is where you wanna be on a balmy evening in Dunsborough.
In the morning, slide on into the on-site cafe for your caffeine fix and a little grab-and-go treat. Day sorted!

Rounding out the Southcamp offering, you’ve got Dunn Bay Continental—a continental grocer, deli, florist and natural wine store developed by Mary Street Bakery founder, Michael Forde. As you’d expect, the food offering here is insanely good.
Hit the deli counter for loaded sandwiches and freshly sliced cold cuts before filling your basket with gourmet cheeses, quality ready made meals and all the primo snacks, drinks and pantry goods you could dream of. Soon you’ll also be able to stock up on vino here too, with a very cool corner wine store and loft bar on the way.
