Cheers To This Pub Offering Crèche Sessions For Your Next Dinner Out

By Erin Curtain

9th Aug 2022

There is a universal truth known by all parents trying to maintain a social life—kids and leisurely dinners with friends don’t always mix well. That’s why The Camfield is taking the little ones off your plate with their brand new Camfield Crèche.

The Camfield is known as Australia’s largest pub for a reason. With five full bars, a beer garden, micro-brewery, riverside views, and 175 beers on tap, this hospo hub has something for everybody, including parents. From August 9 you can book a table and a babysitter in one fell swoop every Monday and Tuesday night. What will follow is two hours of childless dinner conversation, with the knowledge that all of your human-shaped hard work is being well taken care of.

Don’t worry, this is no unsupervised games room. The geniuses behind The Camfield, a Three Pound Group venue, have teamed up with experts Cherished Cherubs, Perth’s leading and most trusted babysitters, who will be taking over The Hall to create a kiddo oasis. Their highly trained and experienced staff will keep the kids entertained for $20 a head while you kick back and take the night off.

Camfield Creche

Whether your ray of sunshine is a toddler or tween, Cherished Cherubs has you covered. The Monday and Tuesday night crèche runs from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and welcomes all ages from six months to twelve years old. Booking online is super easy, all you need to do is reserve a table and fill out some details. Hand in these deets when you drop off your little cherub and voilà, you have secured an evening of kid-free convos,  plus two-straight hours of games and play for the littlest members of the fam. Talk about a win-win.

While your mini-me is living it up in the crèche, The Camfield has plenty to help you enjoy your night off just as much as they will. Take in the views of the Perth City skyline while you dig into their fresh and local share-style menu featuring all your pub faves and wood-fired pizzas. We recommend the Korean BBQ Brisket Sliders alongside a healthy serve of their legend-status fried chicken wings.

Don’t have any of your own little ones? This socially igniting news isn’t just for parents. If you have mates leaping over the offspring hurdle when it comes to planning a catch-up with the crew, you’ll be the MVP with the perfect solution. Lock in a Monday or Tuesday catch-up at The Camfield and take your time-poor parent friends out for some much-needed social time.
