Urban Wine Walk Is Coming To 12 Of Freo’s Best Bars This August

A Fremantle street

It's been a while, but our favourite walking wine tour is back. That’s right, Neighbourhood Events Co is blessing us with the perfect balance of hitting your daily steps and getting gloriously tipsy while pretending to know about wine.

Their latest Urban Wine Walk will take you through twelve of Fremantle's best bars and restaurants—turning them into cellar doors where you can sip grapey goods from the best local winemakers and vineyards before trotting on to the next.

If you’re one of Neighbourhood Events Co’s loyal followers, you already know that they collaborate with the best of the best, so you can expect primo vino at venues such as Nieuw Ruin, Strange Company, Lions and Tigers, Freo.Social and Emily Taylor while you sip top drops from Vino Volta, Goon Tycoons, Juniper Estate, Vallee Du Venom and more.

Don’t expect to be doing this on an empty stomach either, because we are responsible adults remember? Use the $10 voucher included in your ticket to redeem bites at your chosen starting venue.

From 12pm until 4pm on Saturday 20 August, you set your own pace as you work your way from one pop-up cellar door to the next. Each winemaker will have a few of their favourite wines available for tasting, so you can make it your goal to hit all twelve venues, or you can pick out a handful that sound right up your alley and take a more relaxing pace.
