Be your reason Beyonce, Brady or Budweiser, you're not alone in your desire to watch one of the world’s most viewed sporting events.
So rise and shine, team Perth! It’s Falcons vs Patriots at 6am this Monday for the 2017 Super Bowl. We’re recommending a work-from-home day, which loosely translates to head to these bars because it’s the only time it’s ever acceptable to drink Budweiser and order buffalo wings before 9am!
Here's where you can watch the Super Bowl in Perth.
Opening its doors at 6am, the most important rule to remember at Varsity is that the southern fried chicken burger is mandatory. If you feel the need to justify a fried chicken burger on a Monday morning, try adding an egg to make it a breakfast burger and don’t invite anyone who will judge you.
We’re feeling the all-American breakfast, snacks and beers that will be flowing freely at the Inglewood Hotel from 6am on Monday morning. Plus, if past years are anything to go by we reckon they'll be giving away a few prizes and you can even get yourself an Inglewood Hotel Super Bowl shirt if you're feeling that way inclined.
The Left Bank
From 7am, watch the dog walkers stroll past Riverside Road while you take turns ordering jugs at The Left Bank. It’s a little something we like to call ‘keeping the balance in the world’. Now that’s what we call livin' Barry!
The Game Sports Bar
There’s always the option to stay out after a Fringe show on Sunday in Northbridge and head straight to The Game Sports Bar. All you need to know is that they'll be turning it on from 6:30am to make sure you get the whole nine yards. You'll be able to get $9 pints and $20 buckets, but more importantly—all the Amercian treats from the Hey Pesto Food Truck guys.
Crown Sports Bar
On their HUGE screen, Crown Sports Bar has got The Merrywell kitchen on call for all of the lollipop buffalo wings and $30 buckets. Ladies, this is just about the only time you’ll get him to agree to a weekend of pampering at Crown so it’s a win-win. A little GaGa for you, a little touchdown for him!
The Paddington Ale House
The trusty old The Paddo delivers yet again. This time, their epic beer list and multiple screens will be accompanied by a big breakfast while you watch the game from 7am. Walking down the road after the game to buy a loaf of New Norcia sourdough is optional but highly recommended.
With a newly fitted out TAB, Subi’s Paddy Maguire’s is serving up all the trimmings to match all the big screen action. BBQ hot dogs, American burgers and $7 Tiger and Red Stripe pints at 7am? Yeah alright.
Forget going into work early to attack those emails you ignored on Friday afternoon. In case you haven't heard, Monday morning beers are the new Friday arvo drinks (maybe). As the only CBD bar making the list, Durty Nelly’s is opening its doors from 7am so you can have an early 'breakfast meeting'. You know you what to.
The Greenwood Hotel
For die-hard sport fans, or those just wanting $6 Budweiser’s and cheeky round of pool before work, The Greenwood Hotel is where it’s at in the North. Their really, really big screen will be roaring from 7am, so all you've gotta do is set the alarm!
