Life is full of perfect pairings: mac and cheese, Kath and Kim, and our all time favourite, whisky and wagyu. 

So if the thought of meat and liquor gets you all hot and bothered under the collar, let us introduce you to the decadent five-course dinner you need to book, stat. 

The gang over at Raffles Hotel have curated a brilliant dinner series in partnership with Futari Wagyu to give the people what they want: damn good meat and epic whisky to match. 

Taking you on a culinary journey over two nights, each dinner features five courses that celebrate the finest Australian beef perfectly paired with the finest whiskies from around the world. Each event will be hosted by Managing Director of Irongate Wagyu, Peter Gilmour alongside a special guest host from each featured distiller.

Night one kicks off on Wednesday, 7 April and will focus on Scotch Whisky, so if that’s your jam, you know what to do. The second dinner is on Wednesday, 5 May, where you’ll be treated to the tastes of Japan, and going out with a bang for the final night on June 2 you'll get to dine on epic Aussie flavours. Just be sure to arrive hungry.
