The Verdict
After much anticipation, all day eatery Arthur & Co has opened its doors at Hibernian Place and you're going to want to check it out on the double.
If you're not sure what all the excitement is about, you must not be aware of owner and head chef, Graham Arthur's past endeavours. He has been cooking up a storm all over Perth at some of our very best restaurants including Balthazar, Il Lido, Gordon Street Garage and Duende—pretty impressive, huh?
Staying true to his style, the food at Arthur & Co will be simple but bursting with flavour and they'll be using only the best seasonal ingredients. Think crustified chicken with eggplant, tahini, and honey, a zucchini salad with fennel seeds, chilli, sultanas, parsley, garlic, almonds & parmesan or the beetroot, pickled broccoli, feta and snap bread salad.
And while the food is good enough to fool yourself into thinking you're in some kind of fine dining institution, the restaurant itself will be laid back and comfortable, with indoor and alfresco spaces to spread out in.
They'll also be doing takeaway options so you can grab lunch before rushing back to work or parking yourself in the Hibernian Place plaza to enjoy your lunch break.

White tablecloths, marble, jacketed wait staff and caviar bumps—Gibney is hands down the fanciest of all the venues under George Kailis' name. And honestly, it might just take the cake for 'most opulent dining destination' in all of Perth.
Tom’s Providore & Wine Bar
If you’re a Leederville local, you will probably recall the devastation felt the day we discovered the beloved Tom’s Cafe right in the heart of Oxford Street was closing down towards the start of the pandemic. But thankfully since closing the OG, the legends have come back with a new and improved Tom’s in Highgate.
