The Verdict

This WA-themed bar is the perfect place to stop for a drink after work. They’ve got a ridiculous amount of tap beer, which rotates regularly, and a real focus on local brews and top notch cocktails.

They're also running a full lunch and dinner menu these days and boy, is there plenty of good stuff to get excited about. Lunch-goers will be frothing the conti rolls, chicken schnitty sandwiches and the iconic hot chip and halloumi wrap. As for dinner, you’ve got loads of scrumptious share plates to work through including beer battered pickles, Neapolitana meatballs with polenta, and chicken terrine. All of which pair perfectly with the WA-centric drinks menu.

Depending on the weather, you can sit inside their cosy bar area and play board games with your mates, or you can lounge outside in the sun with your dog; they’ll even bring you blankets if it’s chilly. And if you don’t have time to sit down, you can always swing by for a coffee and bite to go from their snazzy new coffee window on your way to work.

Although given the new range of nostalgic themed cocktails they've just launched we'd definitely recommend returning at night. Say hello to your new addiction, the chicken crimpy margarita. Yes, like the old chicken crimpy snack you shovelled into your mouth while watching telly after school. Basically, they've just subbed in a tasty chicken salt to give this margarita that nostalgic flavour kick and you better believe we'll be there to try it. If that's not your vibe, there's also a fairy bread flip complete with butter vodka and a 100s and 1000s rim, a Tim Tam espresso martini, and a sweet spin on the classic pavlova featuring Old Young's iconic Pavlova Vodka, of course. Get sipping!
