The Verdict

Named after one of Australia’s most famous Prime Ministers and perched atop the historic old West Australian print factory, Bob’s Bar is quintessentially Australian. Easily one of Perth’s best rooftop bars, Bob’s is the perfect place for vitamin D infused lunches, casual drinks after work or weekend pre-dinner and post-dinner drinks.

Starting with the most important items on the menu, Bob’s booze list is pretty darn impressive. Featuring a ton of draught craft brews, refreshing punches and cocktails, natural, biodynamic and organic wines and hard liquor—there’s something to appeal to all tastes.

Cocktail-wise, the Mad Scientist is a must try for the brave—a caipirinha topped with lemon meringue foam and green chartreuse. If it's a little chilly on the rooftop their red or white sangria is a good option to share, and you can't go wrong with the Don Juan Colada for max Caribbean vibes.

When it comes to the brews, Bob’s Bar stocks a carefully curated selection of local beers and ciders on tap, as well as a constant rotation of quality craft beers—and if you prefer to drink the frothy stuff from cans or bottles, Bob’s have you sorted there too.

If you thought the drinks on offer were impressive, just wait until you hear about the nosh at Bob’s. There are battered fries and crispy pork belly bites, as well as a whole lot of tasty burgers, pizzas and shares on offer. For the ultimate rooftop feast grab Bob's Box, a value-packed meal that includes a cheeseburger, chicken wings, fries and a colonial middy, house wine or soft drink for a neat $20. 

On 6 April, enjoy a twist on the classic high tea with Small Print and Giniversity's Gin and High T at Bob's Bar. Enjoy amazing treats, both sweet and savoury, by Chef Venus Chiu of Small Print, paired with gin cocktails from Giniversity. Tickets are $39 per person and are totally worth it for the amazing rooftop views and delicious food.
