After lugging their adorable gelato carts around the market scene to great success, Chicho Gelato opened up their first ever shopfront in Northbridge. Having studied at gelato university in Italy, the cold creamy stuff made by owners Carly and Cesare De Bartolo is the shiz-nit. It’s the kind of gelato that actually tastes the way it sounds, made with nothing artificial and only the best ingredients.
Gelato lovers can expect quirky, delicious flavours—like lavender honeycomb, jalapeno pineapple and matcha green tea with caramelised white chocolate—a free-flowing chocolate tap and seasonal specials like the Chicho Panino (gelato sandwich).
They also do delish Micrology cold brew on tap which you can have straight up or in a float with some of that epic gelato.
To celebrate Pride WA's Pride Festival this weekend, Chicho has created a Neapolitan rainbow sandwich that looks almost too good to eat. It's a slice of organic coloured bread (no nasties here) wrapped around a nice big block of Neapolitan ice cream and it's only available on Saturday 25 November until sold out. You know what to do.
