The Verdict

Where the old Hans used to be on Williams Street in Northbridge, microbrewery Cyril Masons has opened its doors to bring pizza, pasta and craft brews to the people of Perth.

The Roman style pizzas come courtesy of Raffaele Brotzu of Delisio pizza fame (if you haven't tried it, you're doing life wrong) and it's all made in house with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The menu also features antipasto like ascolane (stuffed olives) as well as some crazy delicious pasta—the Cheeky Fettuccine with slow cooked beef cheeks, tomato sugo and shaved parmigano is a must.

The beer is brewed on site by brothers Geoff and Dan Goddard who use all natural ingredients to create some seriously good brews that you won't find anywhere else. Small batch brewing is their thing—they don't ever brew more than six kegs at a time—and they don't use any preservatives, so it's all fresh, crisp and delicious! 

Don't worry, if beer's not your thing they've got cocktails and natural wines that pair perfectly with those pasta dishes too.
