The Verdict
Gluten-free bakery Darrington's has added another string to its bow by transitioning into a completely vegan bakery to boot. This hidden bakery, tucked behind the AirSpace yoga studio, is pumping out vegan and gluten-free sweets like doughnuts, brownies, eclairs and lemon meringue pies.
They've also got an incredible savoury cabinet choc-full of peppered "steak", Thai "chicken", jackfruit and chunky curry pies and the most delicious vego sausage rolls we've had the pleasure of tasting.
Gluten intolerants will be happy to know they can pick up some fluffy buckwheat sourdough, plus catering for your next vegan and gluten-free shindig is a breeze with their finger food packs that include empanadas, quiches and arancini. And for that special occasion, you can even send someone a doughnut bouquet or have a custom cake made.
