The Verdict

Tucked away in Osborne Park, Dimattina has been brewing excellent coffee for quite some time. More recently though, they’ve renovated the space, adding brand new training facilities and a kitchen which is dishing out stellar brekkies and lunches that will keep you satisfied all the way through until dinner!

With hearty breakfasts like the potato gratin—served with a perfect poached egg, moreish hollandaise sauce and dukkah—and a delicious breakfast bruschetta which is served with vine ripened tomatoes, a generous dose of avo and feta and a delicious parmesan crisp—you’ll never leave hungry.

If you’re after something lighter for your first meal of the day, there’s plenty on offer. The muesli which is made in house and served with poached pears and berry compote is our top pick, but the muffins, muesli cups and croissants will also hit the spot!

When it comes to lunch, the cabinet is stocked to the brim with some of the best salads, sangas and paninis around, but if you’ve got some extra time you’ll want to sit down and get the halloumi burger. A big slab of halloumi with pesto and hummus, wrapped in a nice big bun—you can’t go wrong. The sweet potato skins that come on the side are just the cherry on top of this delicious feast.

If you’ve got a hankering for some meat, opt for the all-American cheeseburger and why not add some bacon while you’re there. If you’re not feeling all that bread and cheese, the Asian beef salad is chock-full of veg and bursting with flavour.

While the food is all delicious, let’s not forget where Dimattina started out. The team here specialises in coffee and they supply a heap of our favourite cafes around Perth, so it’s not surprising that you’ll get a quality cup of joe every single time. They've also got nitro cold brew on tap which will absolutely knock your socks off!
