The Verdict
The Duke of George is bringing a little slice of New Orleans to the streets of East Fremantle.
Head down from Thursday to Sunday to hear some incredible live jazz and blues tunes in the evenings or hit them up every Saturday afternoon to hear local Perth artists play bluegrass, folk, and Irish music; all for free. On all four days there's a mix of house and ticketed shows, and from Thursday to Saturday, you can head down for dinner and a show.
While you listen, you might want to take advantage of their amazing New Orleans inspired menu. Try their okra and black bean gumbo toastie loaded with plenty of gruyere or their southern-style fried chicken drumsticks with a blue cheese sauce. They've also got an extensive drinks list, with plenty of beer, cocktails, and wine for everyone to enjoy.
So instead of booking an expensive flight, book a ticket to the Duke of George and experience our local jazz music scene instead.
