The Verdict
Gastronomics and a chef that worked at the famous Le Jules Verne in Paris await at French Accent in Caversham. That and cruffgers—a croissant/burger hybrid that features loads of melted camembert cheese and 200g of beef all served in a smokey glass bell.
Chef Antoine Lardin's menu also features delights like salmon gravlax and duck terrine. And he certainly doesn't skimp on the desserts; his Le Gold Bar combines chocolate, salted caramel and edible gold, while the macarons look more like a work of art than food.
Definitely one to keep up your sleeve for date night.
