The Verdict

Gelato 101 Vegan Artisan is moving to Northbridge, bringing with it its delectable vegan delights, all with a side of compassion. The new shop will be tucked next to Flora & Fauna creating what we're dubbing as Perth's first vegan laneway.

Their gelato flavours run the gamut from fruity to creamy; think coconut pandan, apple pie, banana toffee, peanut butter white chocolate and hazelnut, and they've even got some sugar-free options.

Gelato 101 has also created a range of gluttonous vegan freakshakes, like the dark chocolate peanut butter cup topped with peanut butter mousse, peanut butter cups and a chocolate and peanut covered marshmallow.

If you'd prefer to eat your dessert their Belgium and chocolate brownie waffle selection will be right up your alley. Grab yours with two scoops of your preferred gelato and go for gold on the extra toppings.

And if it's a special occasion, they even do gelato cakes with sizes that serve six to 30 people. There are plenty of options on the menu, but we like the sound of the taro and coconut pandan and the coffee mocha and salted caramel cakes. Just give 48 hours notice when ordering one of these.

Whether you're vegan or not, this place won't disappoint. Get down there from 5 July when they open up the doors to their new digs.
