The Verdict

Gusto Gelato prides itself on making oh-my-god-I’ve-died-and-gone-to-heaven, life-changing, exquisite, fresh gelato every day and Perth ice-cream lovers are lapping it up. Making everything from scratch using the freshest ingredients, the man behind this amazing hot spot, Sean Lee, learnt his craft in Italy and has amassed a huge fan base for his delicious and authentic gelato.

With an amazing shop front down at Lizzie Quay (and another in Leederville), you can’t go too wrong with any of the flavours on the extensive menu but our pick is The Gusto – a drool-worthy concoction of roasted peanut gelato with chocolate sauce and chunks of brownie. Heaven!

For Christmas, Gusto is doing the most delicious panettone you'll ever eat. They've cut the centre out and filled it with milk, white and dark chocolate gelato, then topped it with chocolate fudge and white chocolate shards. They serve 10 to 12 people and will set you back $65 so pre-order yours right now and wait for the praise to roll in.
