The Verdict

Holly Raye's is probably the cutest little vintage looking cafe we have ever laid eyes on. A proud home of Micrology Coffee Roasters and the most badass cakes we've ever seen, it is a welcome addition for Bassendean locals (we're a little jealous). The exposed brick, painted floorboards and industrial pendant lights give a modern, yet homely feel to the place. The coffee is creamy with just the right amount of froth. You won't miss this bright little cafe as there's a ginormous mural of the owners' pooch, Angus, on the wall outside painted by the ever so talented Perth artist Anya Brock.
