The Verdict

La Vida Vegan in Subiaco is Perth's only vegan grocery. Filled to the brim with vegan versions of everyone's favourite foods, beauty and health products, this small but mighty grocer has just expanded to include a vegan deli.

Their cabinets are filled with goodies including the hugely popular Beyond Burger, local Noshing Naturally cheeses and Upton's Naturals jackfruit; and all is available to be purchased by the gram (or item) package-free. That's right, you can bring your own containers and fill them up with guilt-free plant-based goodies and not worry about the waste. 

In the cabinets, you'll also find delicious sweet treats from Honey's Bakehouse and the tastiest Country Kitchen pies. And in keeping with the zero-waste theme, they've got bulk bins filled with vegan chocolate and lollies so you can bring your own jars and fill them to the brim. 

If you can't make it into the store, you can have your vegan goodies delivered. But if we're being honest, a trip here to discover the incredible world of cruelty-free eating is half the fun.
