Get ready to make your dentist cry. We found the darn best macarons in Fremantle.

Lily Paris Patisserie, a family-run dessert business, is pumping out macaron gift boxes, macaron tasting plates, giant pink macarons that look like something out of a Roald Dhal story, not to mention lemon meringues, strawberry mousse cakes and other delicate little treats. They've been a staple at markets and shows around Perth for a while now, but now they've got their own bricks and mortar store, and it's looking cute as a button.

Now the real question: what flavour to pick? All the macarons we've tried have been delicious, made to traditional Fench recipes from the freshest WA ingredients. It's hard to go past the Salted Caramel or the Raspberry, but try to leave room for two or three of the Chocolate—sinfully rich, the meringue light and al dente, it'll change your world.
