Still not on the radar of a lot of Perth folks, we think Meeka is one of Perth’s hidden gems and they’re dishing out some of the best middle eastern food around town.
Tucked into the top end of Rokeby Road in Subiaco, this quaint space is perfect for a change in scenery from any regular dinner spot. Their menu is littered with classic Turkish, Lebanese, Israeli and Moroccan dishes; you’ll find it hard to choose a favourite. We recommend one of Meeka's lip-smacking tajines or pides from their wood fire addition. But make sure you leave enough room for their famous Turkish delight stuffed doughnuts; with cardamom sugar, spiced rose chocolate sauce, pistachio white chocolate ice cream, a rose macaron and floss.
If you’re a fan of mid-week specials, then check out Meeka’s new deals. Their Turkish Night Tuesdays include the famous woodfired pides, Turkish delight doughnuts and a glass of wine or Turkish beer for just $30. Alternatively, their Woodfire Wednesdays will treat you to their succulent slow-cooked lamb, roast veggies and homemade bread with a glass of wine for $40.
