Mosman Park locals have scored themselves a pop-up style restaurant and bar with a twist in the form of O Brother. Owned and managed by brothers John, James and David Weir—hence the name—the concept is simple but it packs a punch. This neighbourhood venue will take care of all of your caffeine needs in the morning and will serve you plenty of the strong stuff come nightfall at the bar.
When it comes to food, their courtyard will play host to a different food truck each week so you’ll never get bored. But this isn’t a food truck festival situation. You’ll still be able to sit down at a table, order a nice, cold drink along with your food and have it all brought to you; there’s no need to lift a finger. If the menu doesn’t tickle your fancy one week, that’s fine; their license means you're more than welcome to hang out over a drink or three. Keep an eye on O Brother's Instagram to see who you can expect to see each week.
If you’re more interested in coffee than cocktails, you’ll want to get down there between 7:30am and 11:30am, Monday to Saturday for a good caffeine hit from their coffee window—they’ve also got juice, kombucha and the odd snack if you're feeling peckish.
