The Verdict
After a whirlwind pop-up and a lengthy reno, O Brother has cemented itself as one of the western burbs best small bars.
Owned and managed by brothers John, James and David Weir—hence the name—the concept is simple but it packs a punch. This neighbourhood venue will take care of all of your booze related needs. Emphasis on the needs, thanks to their Rottnest Island Iced Tea and Passionfruit Mojitos.
When it comes to food, they know simple is best and luckily some of the heavy lifting is done by Abhi’s Bread, Fremantle Octupus, Albany Sardines and of course a selection of local cheeses that Wallace and Gromit themselves must’ve signed off on.
The venue itself is open and dynamic, with inside tables for the soggy weather and an outdoor beer garden for anyone who wants their fur bambinos to join.
